Youth Orientation: 30 French luxury Maisons of the Colbert Committee are actively involved

The luxury goods industry has long been aware of the lack of understanding of our manual trades, which today translates into a shortage of young talent. There is an urgent need to bring trades into the classroom, especially our own, and win the battle for career guidance. It's against this backdrop that Les De(ux)mains du luxe event will be held for the second time at Station F. Over the course of four days, schoolchildren and their families will have the opportunity to discover the know-how of 30 of the most prestigious Maisons, including Bernardaud.
The activities offered by the Manufacture on the occasion of this event are as follows: Introductory workshops on Bernardaud and Manufacture de Sèvres techniques: pastillage, trimming-cutting, 3D printing, painting and spinning.
This event has 3 major objectives:
- Introduce young people to skilled trades through the practice of simple gesture
- Awaken the curiosity of 3,000 to 4,000 young people of career guidance age through activities based on these skills
- Reassure parents and teachers by presenting training and career opportunities through masterclasses with industry professionals and dedicated orientation workshops.
Les De(ux)mains du luxe takes place at Station F, a 900m2 exhibition space entirely dedicated to showcasing professions, companies and training courses. Entry is by free registration.
